After signing with Eminem, Ez Mil scores first-ever entry on Billboard charts
It seems that Ez Mil is really serious about carving a name for himself in the international rap scene.
For those who might have missed it, the Filipino-American rapper signed a record deal with veteran rappers Eminem and Dr. Dre. Now, he makes his first-ever Billboard appearance on four charts—with the song he worked on with Eminem, no less.
Their collaboration song “Realest” debuted at No. 3 on both R&B/Hip-Hop Digital Song Sales and Rap Digital Song Sales charts. (If you have no idea how huge this feat is, he sat above some of this generation’s icons such as Doja Cat, Halle, and Travis Scott.)
The song also scored No. 10 on the all-genre Digital Song Sales chart with 4,000 downloads in its debut week. Taylor Swift, Dua Lipa, Billie Eilish, and Nicki Minaj currently appear on the same chart, by the way.

Meanwhile, Ez Mil clinched the 16th spot on Billboard Emerging Artists—a chart dedicated to “the most popular developing artists of the week.”

He also had a non-music achievement a couple of weeks ago as the most recent Filipino personality (following the likes of Manny Pacquiao, Jo Koy, Saweetie, and Apl.de.Ap) to throw the ceremonial first pitch at LA Dodgers’ Filipino Heritage Night.
As of writing, the Fil-Am rapper has four albums in his discography: “Act 1,” “Resonances,” “DU4LI7Y,” and “DU4LI7Y: REDUX.” But given the success of the latest one, would it be too much to hope for more releases before the year ends?
