Let the waiting game begin. The annual MTV Video Music Awards happening on Sept. 13 has just unveiled its crop of nominees. A number of female artists have snagged the multi-nominated status—including Olivia Rodrigo.

“Omg yayyyyy thank u vmas I’m so excited!!!!” the 20-year-old hitmaker gushed on her Instagram Story with multiple emojis, sharing a list of her five noms and a link to the voting page.

Rodrigo has the chance to win in the categories of Best Pop, Best Cinematography, Best Editing, Song of the Year, and the prestigious Video of the Year for “Vampire,” her newest single released on June 30 under Geffen Records. The gothic pop track debuted on the Billboard Hot 100 at number one.

Its corresponding music video is edited by Sofia Kerpan (“For Khadija”) and David Checel (“Candy Necklace” by Lana Del Rey feat. Jon Batiste), with cinematography by Russ Fraser (“Need To Know” by Doja Cat). Petra Collins was on the director’s chair, whom the pop star previously worked with for the “Good 4 U” and “Brutal” MVs.

This release also ushers in the “Drivers License” singer’s new era, as “Vampire” serves as the lead single of “Guts,” her sophomore album. Coming this Sept. 8, the full-length record’s visual sneak peek and tracklist are so far looking—as Rodrigo described it in her “73 Questions” interview with Vogue—“gutsy” indeed.

On Aug. 11, “Vampire” will be followed by the release of another single, “Bad Idea Right?”

In the roster of nominees, Rodrigo is tied with Miley Cyrus, Nicki Minaj, Doja Cat, Sam Smith, and Kim Petras at five nominations each. Meanwhile, Taylor Swift dominates the list with eight nominations.
