Before the single’s release, Ez Mil shared his experience of meeting the legendary rappers in an interview with RX 93.1 in Manila, Philippines.

“Meeting them, it was a whole trip, man,” he said. “Even going through the lobby. ‘Cause Dre was sitting right there in the lobby of the studio. I was peeking through the door, and my brother and mama all went in. And then Dre stood up with his huge self and was like, ‘Hey, superstar.’ I’m like, ‘What the h**l are you talking about?’

Eminem hits back unapologetically

Though it’s not always rainbows and butterflies in the music scene (most especially in rap and hip-hop), “Realest” is a slam at The Game and Melle Mel who both targeted Eminem’s music and skin color.

Melle Mel was particularly skeptical about Eminem’s Top 5 placement in the rap world. And, well, the  “Real Slim Shady” stood up and clapped back in this latest single.

“Hip-hop has been good to me, huh. But when they say that I’m only Top 5 ’cause I’m white, why would I be stunned?”

It’s proof that Eminem won’t let anybody pigeonhole his success. The excitement doesn’t just end there; as if “Realest” wasn’t enough, Ez Mil is also dropping the deluxe edition of his 2022 album on Aug. 11.

While we await “Realest” to hit the top charts, we’ll just be tapping on its beat and digging its lyrics for now.
