The couple announced it on Thursday’s Today show, and every social media platform saw traffic like crazy. The horrible breakup news saddened all the fans of the couple.

The couple did say that they felt like they were better as friends and will stay friends. The two of them will work together and support one another on their shared businesses and projects.

Here’s a little timeline of the couple’s history and what led to the breakup on Thursday. First off, the couple met at a Yankees vs. Mets game in New York City. That was in 2005.
