Halloween in the Philippines can either be scary and spooktacular or magical and beautiful, with many celebrities showing off elaborate pop culture costumes in honor of the spooky holiday.
This year, Filipina beauty queens are back in their Halloween best, taking their creativity and style to the universe.
Wearing that Joker smile, Miss Universe 2021 finalist Beatrice Luigi Gomez dressed up as the iconic Joker in all her glory.
Channeling the playful yet mischievous spirit of the character, she confidently declared on Instagram, “Why so serious? Let’s put a smile on that face.”

Her transformation was brought to life with the artistic talents of her makeup team, including Nix Soriano and Leilani Bamba-Rizon, who crafted the perfect look to embody the character’s creepy and chaotic essence.
Miss Universe 2023 semi-finalist Michelle Dee also joined in as DEEYONCÉ, and she came out to play. “DEEYONCÉ is coming out to play!!” she wrote.
Miss Grand International 2020 first runner-up commented, “Saan po makakabili ng DEEYONCE DOLL? SLAAAAY!”
