As the curtains rise on the National Arts Month 2024, themed “Ani ng Sining Bayang Malikhain,” Gray stands as a leading figure that extends an invitation to celebrate the arts as a collective expression of the nation’s creativity.

In a recent Instagram post, she expressed her thoughts on the occasion, stating, “Let us extend the hand of invitation as we celebrate the arts this year.”

Highlighting the essence of the theme, Gray emphasized that the celebration underscores “the bountiful harvest of a Filipino creative nation drawn from the products of human imagination, not just of individuals but of people as a collective.”

Speaking to the broader goals of NAM 2024, she expressed that the celebration aims to harness the creative energies of artists for nation-building. Additionally, it seeks to integrate the arts into the lives of various populations and communities, including LGBTQIA+, PWD, Indigenous Peoples, Youth, Seniors, and more.

Various activities are planned for NAM 2024, with the opening scheduled for Feb. 23 at Rizal High School in Pasig City and the events to continue throughout March.
