Fil-Canadian pop-punk artist Mico announces 2024 US tour
Hot off the heels of his latest single “Homesick,” released just a few days ago, Filipino Canadian singer-songwriter Mico is preparing for his 2024 US tour.
On June 24, the pop punk artist took to Instagram to unveil the poster and the news, “‘Cancel Your Plans Tour’ – My 2024 US tour [sign up for pre-sale in my bio].”

Mico expressed his excitement for the tour, stating, “So excited to play these shows in a lot of new cities (and one familiar one)… tickets are available right now for Amicos membership holders (see my last post), but text pre-sale starts tomorrow @ 10am local time + general sale on Friday @ 10am local time. Hope to see you there :)”
The “Cut My Hair” artist will kick off his tour in Los Angeles on Sept. 11, followed by a stop in San Diego on Sept. 12, Las Vegas on Sept. 13, Phoenix on Sept. 15, Dallas on Sept. 18, Austin on Sept. 19, Houston on Sept. 20, Orlando on Sept. 24, Atlanta on Sept. 26 and Nashville on Sept. 27.
Last year, the Toronto-based artist had his first-ever North American tour, titled “Fantasy Tour.” This new tour promises to bring his unique blend of pop punk to even more fans across the United States.
In typical Mico fashion, the singer-songwriter humorously addressed fan reactions to the tour dates on his Instagram stories, quipping, “[I don’t know] why everyone’s complaining [about] the days I picked to do the shows. It’s literally called the ‘Cancel Your Plans’ tour.”
He concluded with a playful nod to the tour’s name, encouraging fans to “cancel them.”
For those unfamiliar, born Miguel Veloso in Toronto, Mico has embarked on a journey from sharing tracks on SoundCloud and interacting with fans on Discord to establishing himself as a notable presence in the music industry, resurging the pop punk genre in today’s generation.
Raised in a home steeped in traditional Filipino music, Mico charted his own musical course within the realm of pop-punk, drawing inspiration from bands such as Marianas Trench and 5 Seconds of Summer. His knack for intertwining personal anecdotes with universally resonant themes has garnered him a loyal fan base called “Amicos.”
