Fil-Canadian artist Mico to drop new song ‘Homesick’ on June 21

Filipino Canadian singer Mico is bringing pop punk back to the forefront with his upcoming new release “Homesick,” set to drop at midnight on June 21.
Known for his nostalgic tracks like “Cut My Hair,” “Another Soul” and “Better,” Mico continues to captivate audiences with his sound that definitely makes him stand out.
Mico, who has over 350,000 monthly listeners on Spotify, took to Instagram to invite his fans, affectionately called “Amicos,” to pre-save the new single. “The start of a new chapter for me,” he wrote.
Reflecting on the creation of “Homesick,” the Toronto-based artist shared that he penned the song on the first day of his latest trip to Los Angeles.

The chorus lyrics, “I’d stay, cancel my flights, change everything just to be in your life. Homesick, but I’d leave it behind to be with you night after night,” echo the sentiment that characterizes much of his work.
