Fil-Canadian artist Mico to open for ‘Walk off the Earth’ in Toronto, Ottawa
After successfully staging his North American tour last year, Filipino Canadian pop-punk artist Mico is gearing up for another big show in Toronto and Ottawa.
Announced both on his Instagram post and channel, the “Another Soul” singer-songwriter will be opening for “Walk off the Earth,” a JUNO Award-winning multi-platinum musical group, on May 4 at Southam Hall, Ottawa, and on June 1 at Budweiser Stage, Toronto.

In his post, the Toronto-based performer is excited to meet everyone at the show with a caption that reads, “Some of you may have already seen, but I’m so excited to announce I’ll be opening for @walkofftheearth at some of the biggest shows I’ve ever played.”
He added that he is “hyped to play” in some dream venues of his with a band so important to the internet culture on which he built his whole career.
It is a known fact that the Filipino talent began self-releasing tracks on the internet, particularly Soundcloud and Discord, then rose to fame by reviving the pop-punk resurgence for this generation.
It was also December of last year when he revealed that the finale of his “Fantasy tour” and afterparty scheduled on Dec. 7 marked his final performance for the next couple of months for a well-deserved break.
But, it seems like he misses his Amicos and wants to see them again on these Toronto and Ottawa stages with “My Stupid Heart” hitmakers, “Walk off the Earth.”
Tickets are now available for purchase.
