Reports from Big Hit Music reveal that the English track clinched the No. 1 position on iTunes charts in key markets such as Germany, Brazil, France and Japan. Furthermore, it soared to the summit of both the Worldwide iTunes Song and European iTunes Song charts.

Accompanying the single’s release was an accompanying music video, premiered alongside the song on May 10. Within a brief period, the video amassed over 8 million views, ascending to the sixth position on YouTube’s Trending Music charts, as of this writing.

Characterized as an indie pop masterpiece, “Come Back To Me” encapsulates themes of resilience and introspection, resonating deeply with listeners on a personal level. Big Hit Music elaborated that RM’s forthcoming album, “Right Place, Wrong Person,” comprises 11 tracks with themes of identity, belonging and his “authentic essence” with “a rich sound coupled with frank, honest lyrics.”

This upcoming album marks a departure from BTS’ collective sound, revealing RM’s distinct identity as a solo artist. Building on the success of his debut solo album, “Indigo,” released in December 2022, featuring tracks like “Wild Flower” and “Closer,” RM continued to demonstrate his dedication to his craft despite his enlistment in December 2023. He filmed music videos for nearly half of the album’s tracks before his departure.

Everything sets the stage for RM’s eagerly anticipated return to the global stage upon his discharge on June 10, 2025.

While RM and his fellow BTS members, including J-hope, Jin, Suga, V, Jungkook, and Jimin, are currently fulfilling their military service obligations, their solo endeavors continue to resonate with the BTS Army worldwide.
