Bengals vs Rams – who will win the 2022 Super Bowl LVI?

/ 08:14 AM January 31, 2022

The Bengals and the Rams will head on to face off for the Super Bowl LVI. Both of the teams had an incumbent win with their opponents before they finally got to the end for the championship. The two will play on February 13, Sunday at SoFi Stadium. The Super Bowl LVI will be played at 3:30 p.m. PST on NBC.

For the Bengals, it was the rigid coin toss that almost put the team in danger of winning. This results in the Chiefs getting the ball first after winning the toss. While the Rams comeback win vs the 49ers took them three knees to get to the Super Bowl LVI.

The Bengals Victory

As mentioned earlier, the Bengals lose the coin toss in overtime. Despite their disadvantage, what they did on the first drive was keep the opponent in the end zone. A good tactic the Bengals used to get the ball to the offense.

At this point, a touchdown on the first drive was all the Chiefs needed to end the game after overtime. However, the Bengals made a wise move of halting to a stop while Patrick Maholmes threw a down interception to safety Vonn Bell. The Bengals then had the opportunity to take the ball into Chief’s territory.

Rookie Evan McPherson hit a goal that led to the Bengals’ biggest win in their NFL history. Although they have been in two Super Bowls before. The Bengals secured a record coming off an 18-point loss and then stunned the Chiefs at 27-24. While it seemed impossible for them to make it to the Super Bowl LVI, when they scored 21-3 and Mahomes wasn’t at his best. They made it happen even at the start of the overtime. When it looks like the coin toss might drop their chances down.

The Bengals stop and their chance to get the ball back to Burrow is what led the team to win.

Los Angeles Rams’ road to Super Bowl LVI

It’s happening! The Rams will play for the Super Bowl LVI against the Bengals. With a record of 20-17 in their thriller game against the 49ers, the Rams will attempt to get their first Super Bowl title.

While the San Francisco 49ers had a big chance of getting it to the Super Bowl LVI, Jaquiski Tartt lost that chance with a missed trip on his hands. If he caught Matthew Stafford’s pass, the 49ers would have made it to the Super Bowl LVI. It’s crucial how that one ball drop is the moment the game turns around.

Tartt missing a pass was the big moment for the Rams’ comeback win to be possible. Coming back from a 10-point loss to start the 4th quarter, they won the NFC championship making it to the Super Bowl LVI.

A flashback of that turning point is clear as day how a single miss can overturn events. Stafford threw a thoughtless pass in the middle of the 4th quarter. It hit straight to Tartt and the pass hit his hand. But he dropped it. Nobody was around him at that time.

In another event, Odell Beckham Jr. caught a 29-yard pass which got the Rams 15 yards on a personal foul. The Rams got a stop then caught up with Jimmy Garapolo’s third pass. Ram’s victory put an end to the losing streak with the 49ers.

Predictions for Super Bowl LVI

In conclusion, while both teams had amazing comeback wins, their success depends on the same tactics. Though the result will still depend on the No.1 picks. The quarterbacks of both teams will play a major role. While Stafford took 13 years to get to where they are now, Burrow is just on his second season.

Also, consider that the Bengals have a strong defense while the Rams made it to the SuperBowl LVI for the second time. Although the Rams are up for a heavy challenge against the Bengals. As the Bengals’ line of defense focuses on keeping opponents in front.

NBC and Telemundo (Espanol) will broadcast the Super Bowl LVI live. It can also be streamed through the following connected iOS, Android, and TV applications: Peacock app, NFL app, Yahoo Sports, and Telemundo app.
