Overcoming his fears, Travis Barker has finally grazed his trauma and got on a plane for the first time after his 2008 deadly plane crash.

The Blink-182 rockstar boarded on a flight with his girlfriend, Kourtney Kardashian. Their flight is heading on to Cabo, Mexico, from Los Angeles on Saturday, according to TMZ photos.

The said photos show the couple embarking on Kylie Jenner’s private jet, including their safe landing in Mexico. The photos also show momager Kris Jenner and Cory Gamble aboard the same flight that Barker took.

The 45-year-old rockstar being one of the survivors, has obtained serious injuries. He’s critical with third-degree burns on his body. Adam “DJ AM’ Goldstein was another one of the survivors with fatal burns, but Goldstein died one year after due to a drug overdose.

Barker revealed that his PTSD became rehab for him that eventually helped him quit his drug use.

Barker also said that in 2015, as he spent months at the hospital, undergoing numerous surgeries and skin grafts, has affected his mental health and thought of suicide.

In an interview with ABC News at that time, Barker said, “I stayed in burn meters for, like, the next four months, that feels like hell.”

Earlier this year, Barker told Men’s Health, “People are always like, “Did you go to rehab?” “And I say, No, I was in a plane crash.” That was my rehab. Lose three of your friends and almost die? That was my wake-up call. If I weren’t in a crash, I would have probably never quit”.

A father of two, his children’s visits had been his refuge telling them, “When you’re ready to fly, I’m ready to fly,” he told ABC News.

It was June this year when Barker announced in his tweet that “I might fly again.” He confirmed his relationship with Kourtney Kardashian last February.
