Then you will need to put a smaller glass bowl or pot inside the large pool. The smaller pot or bowl should float on the water.

Step 2:

The next step is to heat the water on medium-high heat. It is suggested that you keep it between 180-200 degrees Fahrenheit.

Step 3:

Take the pot’s lid and cover the pot, placing the lid upside down on the large pool. This will let condensed distilled water drip down to the smaller pot or glass bowl when you turn the lid upside down.

Place ice cubes on top of the lid. If you do not have ice cubes, you can use an ice pack.

Step 4:

Now, all you need to do is wait. You can add more ice to the upside-down lid after 30 minutes to an hour, then again after another 45 minutes.

Make sure you are wearing some oven mitts because the lid will be very hot. You will dump the melted ice before you replenish it each time. You eventually want a cold lid.
