A true star and record-breaker, even while fulfilling his mandatory military service, the BTS member continues to mark his name in music history as his solo single “Seven,” featuring Latto, surpasses 2.2 billion streams on Spotify.
This achievement makes “Seven” the fastest song by an Asian solo artist to reach this milestone. Released on July 14, 2023, the track quickly took the world by storm, topping international charts and proving Jungkook’s influence in the industry.
Prior to this, Jungkook recently became the highest-ranking Korean act on the US Chartmetrics Foreign Artists Chart, reaching No. 23 – ahead of his own group, BTS.
His global impact also extends to the UK, where he secured the No. 26 spot on the same chart, making him the only Korean soloist to achieve such recognition.
Meanwhile, the K-pop idol’s ‘I AM STILL THE ORIGINAL’ extended series is now available for streaming on Disney+.
As excitement brews for BTS’ long-awaited reunion, the global boy group’s return is now on the horizon.
With RM and V set to complete their military service on June 10, followed by Jimin and Jungkook on June 11, fans eagerly anticipate their comeback.
Suga will wrap up his service on June 22, officially marking the end of BTS’ military chapter and setting the stage for a highly anticipated 2025 return.
Jin, the group’s eldest member, was the first to be discharged in June 2023, while J-Hope is expected to complete his service in October 2024.
With each member’s return drawing closer, anticipation continues to build for BTS’ next era, promising an exciting future for the global superstars.
