K-pop supergroup BTS is officially back in action and the creative spotlight is reportedly on the United States.

Following the completion of their mandatory military service in June, members of the iconic K-pop group were said to have flown to the US to begin preparations for their 2026 comeback, starting with a special songwriting camp.

The news of their return has set the global ARMY fandom abuzz. On July 1, all seven members reunited publicly for the first time since 2022 through a Weverse livestream. It was during this momentous live that BTS confirmed plans for a comeback album and world tour in 2026.

“Hey guys, we are back,” Jimin said during the broadcast. The group followed with another major reveal: “We’re also planning a world tour alongside the album. We’ll be visiting fans all around the world, so we hope you’re as excited as we are.”

The upcoming album will be BTS’ first group release since BE in 2020, and the tour will mark their first global concert series since “Permission to Dance” on Stage.

As the members now focus their creative energy in the US, excitement continues to build.

With this new chapter officially in motion, BTS is once again proving why they remain at the forefront of the global music scene.
