Olivia Rodrigo hands out free morning-after pills at concert amid abortion ban
“Funding abortion, it’s a good idea right?”
Amid Missouri’s implementation of stringent abortion laws, including limited exceptions, Filipino American pop sensation Olivia Rodrigo remains resolute in her stance on women’s reproductive rights, especially during International Women’s Month.
During a stop on her “Guts” world tour in Missouri, where abortion is banned, the Grammy-winning artist and her team took a proactive approach by distributing emergency contraceptives.
Olivia Rodrigo collaborated closely with local advocacy groups to provide concert attendees at St. Louis’ Enterprise Center with free emergency contraceptive pills and condoms.

This initiative is part of the “Vampire” songstress’ Fund 4 Good campaign, which strives for “an equitable and just future for all women, girls and people seeking reproductive health freedom.”
In addition to distributing emergency contraceptives, advocacy groups also stationed informational tables outside the venue, offering pamphlets and resources to concertgoers.
The Missouri Abortion Fund, one of the participating organizations, expressed gratitude to the singer for her support. In a lighthearted nod to one of her lyrics, they quipped on social media, “Thank you to @oliviarodrigo for allowing us to table at your STL GUTS world tour stop! It’s brutal out here in Missouri.”

Taking her advocacy a step further, the Fil-Am advocate announced on Instagram that a portion of the proceeds from ticket sales would be donated to the Missouri Abortion Fund and Right By You, an organization dedicated to aiding Missourians in accessing reproductive healthcare.
Right By You focuses on providing support for various reproductive healthcare needs, including abortion, birth control, birth care, teen parenting without stigma and adoption without coercion. Meanwhile, the Missouri Abortion Fund provides financial assistance to residents who cannot afford the full cost of abortion care.
This isn’t the first time the artist has championed reproductive health rights. In 2022, following the Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe v. Wade, Rodrigo teamed up with Lily Allen to deliver a defiant performance of “F*** You” at the Glastonbury Music Festival, solidifying her commitment to the cause.
