Blackpink’s Rosé is back in the spotlight, not just for her record-breaking hit “APT” with Bruno Mars, but now for another chart-topping release alongside breakout Gen Z singer-songwriter Alex Warren.
The Blackpink member has teamed up with the viral American artist for his new single, “On My Mind,” which has been making waves since its release on June 27 under Warner Records.
“On My Mind” marks a moment in Warren’s rising career. The song was quietly announced as part of Warren’s upcoming album “You’ll Be Alright, Kid,” set for release on July 18.
But while the announcement may have been low-key, the fan response has been anything but.
“On My Mind” surged to No. 9 on the iTunes Top Songs chart shortly after release, proving the massive pull of this East-meets-West collaboration.
Warren first sparked curiosity weeks ago when he teased a mystery collab on social media which set the internet ablaze with rumors once fans began to suspect Rosé’s involvement.
Prior to the release, he posted the cover art on social media, writing, “Leaking our cover art because this song comes out in 24 hours.”

The track, produced by hitmakers Ammo and John Ryan, is a soaring love ballad layered with cinematic intensity. With Warren’s signature raw emotion and Rosé’s tone, the song captures the ache of longing and connection. As described by its creators, it’s a track “infused with raw emotion and cinematic flair.”
Complementing the sonic experience is the music video, directed by GRAMMY-nominated filmmaker Colin Tilley. Rich in visual storytelling and intimate scenes, the video adds depth to the track’s lyrical themes and showcases the chemistry between the two artists.
