Fil-Am singer J. Rey Soul makes waves with feature on Kanye West’s ‘Vultures 1’ album
Following a series of unexpected delays, Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign have finally unveiled their collaborative album, “Vultures 1.”
Originally slated for release at the end of 2023, the album faced several date changes before dropping on the 20th anniversary of West’s debut album, “The College Dropout.”
Adding to the star-studded lineup of the 16-track album, which features appearances from Playboi Carti, Quavo, Freddie Gibbs, Lil Durk, Chris Brown, YG, North West and more, is Filipino American songstress and Black Eyed Peas member J. Rey Soul.
Her contribution to track #14, titled “Good (Don’t Die),” has created a significant buzz around the album.

Taking to Instagram with excitement, the Laguna native expressed her gratitude to will.i.am and the entire project team after waking up and finding out the song she recorded was part of the album.
In her post, she exclaimed, “OMGGGG!!! I’m on Ye and Ty Dolla’s new album Vultures!!!! Y’all check out ‘GOOD (Don’t Die)’ and let me know what you think!! Much love to Wil and thanks to everyone involved!”
In the same post, Ty Dolla $ign commented “U sound like an angel.”

Beyond her feature on “Vultures 1,” the Fil-Am singer has been making waves with her solo endeavors, including her recent single, “HOLLA,” which further showcases her talent and adds to her expanding repertoire.
For those unfamiliar, J. Rey Soul is actually Jessica Reynoso who was part of Black Eyed Peas’ Apl.de.Ap’s team in The Voice of the Philippines Season 1 back in 2013.
