Filipino-American artists have been making significant buzz lately and have been turning heads in the music industry. One of them is singer, songwriter, and rapper Zacari, who has just released a collaboration track with none other than Ty Dolla $ign.

Titled “Ave Maria,” the song solidifies the multi-instrumentalist’s status hailing from Bakersfield, California, as one of the most recognized Filipino acts worldwide, thanks to an impressive resume of solo releases and high-profile collaborations with top artists across the globe, including Kendrick Lamar, Lil Yachty, and BLXST.

On Oct. 18, he posted a teaser on Instagram about this collaboration with a caption, “new song on Friday featuring __________ ??? Take a guess.” Then on Oct.19, he finally revealed that it was Ty Dolla $ign. On Oct. 22 it was officially released.
