Saweetie, P-Lo collaborate on new 49ers playoff song
Bang bang, Niner Gang!
Following the San Francisco 49ers’ recent playoff victory over the Packers, it appears that the celebratory song could be the new game anthem from Filipino-American Bay Area rappers.
Timed just before the highly anticipated playoff clash between the 49ers and the Green Bay Packers, Saweetie and P-Lo have collaborated on “Do It For The Bay,” the latest fight song for the team.
The track opens with a homage to the 2019 hit “Niner Gang” by Bay Area legend E-40, aligning with the football team’s undefeated run that season.
In an interview with People, the Grammy-nominated artist from Santa Clara shared their excitement about the collaboration, expressing love for creating something “so Bay-triotic, as P-Lo would say.”
P-Lo, on the other hand, expressed his long-standing desire to collaborate with Saweetie, adding, “With both of us being die-hard 49ers fans, this is a great opportunity to come together and show our pride for The Bay.”

Additionally, the video seamlessly weaves together scenes of both Fil-Am rappers performing and footage from some of the 49ers’ victorious moments during the regular season. Not only that, but it also features iconic landmarks and aspects of the Bay Area.
