Fil-Am ice skating queen gliding her way to Miss America’s Teen victory

Living a Disney princess life may be unattainable for some but not for Filipino American and Miss Alaska’s Teen 2023 Lynciemae Adams – she’s a princess on ice with a crown.
True beauty isn’t just about appearance but what really shines from within and that’s what she is set to prove as she embarks on her next journey — Miss America’s Teen to be held in Orlando Florida in January 2024.
Gliding the ice as a figure skater, 18-year-old Adams also soars high in the sky (literally). At 17, she was the first young woman to earn a private pilot license under King Tech’s Advanced Aviation Technology Program.

A beauty queen crown, killer ice skating moves and a pilot’s cap — that’s our Fil-Am Miss Alaska’s teen, defying all odds and exceeding expectations.
Not just your average teen, she has pageant titles since she was a kid and other accolades on top of that. From winning the title Little Miss Filipino American 2014 to clinching a Bronze level Achievement Award from the US Figure Skating Association, she is a real beauty queen.

Sure, it’s cold in Alaska but it never bothered her anyway. Instead, she turned those icy platforms into her personal runway and honing her talent. Last December, she performed solo and pair skating in Winterfest 2023 — Alaska’s second largest figure skating competition.

Beauty, brains, and passion for healthcare
Amid the glitz and glamour, Adams has brains set to be a future healthcare queen. She completed pre-major nursing requirements in high school finishing a 4-year Biomedical Science Program.

Furthermore, Philippine Consul General Ferrer had the chance to meet this powerhouse during an outreach. She was with her mother Maila Adams applying for dual citizenship at that time.
