BGYO adds P-pop touch to NSYNC’s ‘Better Place’ for ‘Trolls Band Together’
It’s some kind of love, it’s some kind of fire. Already up, but P-pop boy group BGYO is here to lift everyone higher.
In an exciting collaboration, the “Aces of P-pop” has put their own vocal magic on NSYNC’s “Better Place” for the upcoming “Trolls Band Together” movie, set to hit Philippine theaters on Nov. 15.
Their official account posted a teaser on Nov. 8 with the quintet, consisting of Gelo Rivera, Akira Morishita, JL Toreliza, Mikki Claver, and Nate Porcalla, sporting different colorful hairstyles reminiscent of those in the film, with the caption, “We ain’t trollin’, just rollin’! Our Best Boys will take you to A Better Place!”
On Nov. 10, they dropped the cover on TikTok, lasting more than a minute. Following the release, the members expressed their gratitude stating, “We TROLLy appreciate this chance to do a mini cover of NSYNC’s Better Place from #TrollsBandTogetherPH!”

Meanwhile, the ACEs (their fans), warmly received the new venture of the “Tumitigil ang Mundo” performers, sharing their excitement and anticipation with the tag “BGYO JUST ROLLIN” and even requested a full song cover.
But fear not, as the Grammy-featured band teased fans on Nov. 13 to “watch out for more surprises!”

Beyond BGYO, what should we expect from the movie?
Loved for its “last song syndrome”-worthy pop hits, the new installment of the “Trolls” series shifts its focus to the magic and charm of band music.
Moreover, the sequel brings back Poppy and Branch, voiced by Anna Kendrick and Justin Timberlake, for a vibrant musical adventure. The film features a star-studded cast of musical talents, including Troye Sivan, Eric Andre, Daveed Diggs, Kid Cudi, and Camila Cabello.

And when it comes to band music, similar to what the film is about—the country’s own version of catchy pop group tunes in the same vein as K-pop and J-pop—who knows this better than BGYO?
