A Filipino restaurant on Perrin Beitel Road in San Antonio, Texas faced a setback as a brazen burglar broke into the establishment just hours before it was about to open.

Security camera footage from Kain Na Filipino Cuisine captured the incident on the morning of Oct. 10, when an unauthorized individual shattered multiple glass doors to access the premises.

The restaurant posted the photos on Facebook with a caption that reads,“What a LUMPIA TUESDAY! Kain Na Got broken into again! Some people just don’t have anything better to do! If anyone can profile this guy please let us know so we can report them to SAPD.”

This is not the first time the establishment has been robbed, as another burglar broke into the place last year.

However, being Filipino, they continue to demonstrate determination and resilience in the face of adversity.

“Anyway! Life goes on and Lumpia Tuesday, $.50 cents lumpia all day is still going! We are open til 9 PM still,” the post continues.

Owner Angelica Guzman stated that despite what happened, they will still dish out lumpia and other Filipino food like business as usual.

“We’re still doing our regular thing. We have live music, we have karaoke nights on Friday. Life goes on,” Guzman said in an interview with MySA.
