Bretman Rock: No pumpkin spice ice cream on Fil-Am History Month
Nothing can ever be basic when it’s Bretman Rock clocking in at an ice cream parlor and with her uniform on? B*tch, she’s slaying it!
Recently, the fabulous social media sensation has teamed up with Wanderlust Creamery for an ice cream flavor collaboration celebrating Honolulu Pride Month and Filipino American History Month called the “Da Fruity Salad.”
This limited edition ice cream flavor isn’t just all about satisfying your Pinoy fiesta cravings; it’s also about giving back. Proceeds from its sales will go to the Golden Gays, a nonprofit founded in Manila in the ’70s by Justo Justo committed to supporting elderly LGBTQIA+.

Behind the scenes with Bretman Rock
Bretman Rock shared a sneak peek into his time as a Wanderlust Creamery employee on Instagram: “I just be doing side missions nowadays,” he writes.
“I had so much fun at [Wanderlust Creamery] serving [my] ice cream flavor[,] which I call ‘Da Fruity Salad’ [to] celebrate Filipino American Heritage Month.”

And trust us, there’s never a boring day with this star. Bretman Rock didn’t clock out without delivering some sass. When one customer asked for a pumpkin spice flavor (obviously since fall is coming), our charming seller pulled it without brakes, “Pumpkin Spice?! On Filipino American Month?! Get the f*ck out!”
Sorry pumpkin spice lovers, just not this month since Bretman Rock and the rest of the diaspora are all about celebrating Filipino American History Month. In case you haven’t seen it yet, these festivities are lined up across the US.
This stint at Wanderlust Creamery is one of many recent activities that Bretman Rock has been up to lately. In August, he traveled back to the Philippines for a birthday bash in gorgeous Palawan, where he tried fire dancing.

And most recently, Bretman was spotted attending the US premiere of Dolly De Leon and Kathryn Bernardo’s “A Very Good Girl.”
From his daily antics with his pets at home to serving ice cream in uniform, we can’t help but stan. Cheers to this philanthropic spirit, and thanks for making this Filipino American History Month a little sweeter.
