A woman went on a racist tirade against a Filipino family while they were in line at a supermarket checkout counter.
The incident caught on video happened in Daly City and was shared Saturday, June 9, by a friend of the couple, Danika Aquino.
Earlier today our close friends went to our local Lucky supermarket store in Daly City & as they were checking out this old racist disgusting hag was behind them harassing them and making racist comments towards them . This is exactly what America has turned into and we need to put a stop to people like her !

The elderly woman comments on their purchases: “Look at all the groceries they buy.”
The couple remains calm, with the woman, Jenny Veladera, not confronting her but stating, “So racist.”
“We’ve got a family to feed,” her partner responds.
“So what? Go back to your country,” the woman says.
“This is our country,” the man replies.
“You’re lying, you’re lying, you’re lying, just like how you got here.”
The man is heard talking to a person not seen in the camera, presumably the cashier. “You have the right to refuse service right? I think you should.”
The video was originally uploaded on Veladera’s Instagram page. Prior to her page becoming private, she said in the caption, “I’ve never felt so angry and sad overall because I had my 5-year-old with me.”
A comment left on the video said: “It’s the same woman that my little brother and Jose had an encounter with in line at Target.”
Racism against Asian-Americans has become increasingly documented with smartphones and social media. Last Friday, June 8, a white Florida woman was captured venting discriminatory remarks against an Asian nail salon owner, who kept attempting to appease the woman. /ra
