More details about the J.Cole and J-Hope MV shoot

J. Cole, or Jermaine Lamarr Cole, is an American hip-hop record producer and music artist. He became famous in 2007 for his mixtape “The Come Up.”

He earned numerous recognitions, such as a Platinum certification from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).

In 2014, he earned his first Grammy Award nomination for Best Rap Album. Three years later, his album “4 Your Eyez Only” debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 chart.

On the other hand, J-hope is a member of BTS, arguably the most influential K-pop group in the world. It became famous for numerous songs, such as “Dynamite.”

These artists are from two opposite sides of the world, so it was a surprise to see them collaborate on a song.

The BANGTANTV sneak peek video started with the first day of shooting the song “On The Street.” It featured J-Hope preparing for the music video shoot.

Believe it or not, he described J. Cole as his “muse,” implying his admiration for the American music artist. Also, he wrote a handwritten note for J. Cole:

“Working together with you has been a meaningful event. I’m rooting for your piece,” wrote J-Hope.

Then, he wondered, “Is this the mind of a fan?” noting how his fans probably write similarly for him. Moreover, he expressed gratitude to J. Cole for “making my childhood dream come true.”

Later, J-Hope had a chance to speak one-on-one with J.Cole. The former mentioned he’d been a fan since he was 15 years old.

The video proceeded with Days 2 and 3 of the MV shoot, featuring the BTS member walking on city streets and dancing in an empty subway.
