McDonald’s USA to Give Away 10,000 Limited Edition Bottles of Big Mac Special Sauce
Following the introduction of the Mac Jr. and Grand Mac Burgers, McDonald’s Gives Away Big Mac Special Sauce for the First Time in the U.S. on January 26
McDonald’s is changing to be better and part of that journey is advancing the food and restaurant experience to meet the evolving needs of our customers—including innovations for one of our most iconic menu items: the Big Mac sandwich. And it doesn’t end there. To celebrate, we’re going even further by sharing limited edition bottles of Big Mac Special Sauce with our fans.
Bottles of our beloved Big Mac Special Sauce will be available on January 26 at participating restaurants nationwide and on McDonald’s social channels. Quantities will vary per location. Additional details on how and where customers can get their hands on a bottle will be released on Wednesday, January 25.
This announcement follows the nationwide introduction of the Mac Jr. and Grand Mac burgers. These twists on the famous sandwich – which boasts two 100 percent all-beef patties, special sauce, lettuce, cheese, pickles, and onions on a sesame seed bun – will be available through March 20 while supplies last.
The Grand Mac sandwich takes its name pretty seriously. It’s made with two 100 percent pure beef patties for a total of one-third pound* with two slices of melty American cheese and iconic Special Sauce, served on a larger sesame seed bun with crisp lettuce, minced onions and tangy pickles; a literal and figurative mouthful. Each burger patty is seasoned to perfection with salt and pepper in McDonald’s kitchens. The Mac Jr. sandwich is a single-layer burger that’s easier to eat on the go. The 100% pure beef patty packs in all the flavor of the Big Mac sandwich without the middle bun.
We took another step toward a better McDonald’s by giving you a Big Mac sandwich for every occasion. And now, we’re giving away our 10,000 bottles of our beloved Big Mac Special Sauce on January 26 for the first time ever in the U.S. to continue to change expectations. There’s still more to do and we’re always striving to be better, so we can’t wait to show you what’s next.
