J.Cole becomes first rapper to be cover athlete for NBA2K23 ‘Dreamer ‘ Edition

NBA 2K unveiled the new NBA 2k23 Dreamer Cover Edition with Grammy Award-winning rapper J.Cole. NBA 2k limited edition cover will arrive in November 2022. The multi-platinum hip-hop artist and producer will join other cover athletes like Devin Booker, Michael Jordan, Diana Taurasi, and Sue Bird.

Grammy-winning artist J.Cole will also be the Executive Producer for this year’s soundtrack. He is also set to add his personal touch to the NBA 2k23 tracklist. He is also planning up for his upcoming album release. J.Cole was popular for the hits ‘Power Trip’, ‘No Role Modelz’, and more.

NBA 2k23 features

All throughout the game’s history, this 2k23 edition is set to be one of the most distinctive music collections. Internationally-recognized songs from world-class talents will feature their songs on the game. Some of these are “Wants and Needs” by Drake (feat. Lil Baby), “Megan’s Piano” by Megan Thee Stallion, “Nail Tech” by Jack Harlow, and many more.

Moreover, NBA 2k23 is also honoring the crossover of basketball and music culture. Their new MyCareer on Next Sen will feature the largest and most interactive storyline throughout the franchise’s history. The storyline would start after the NBA Draft. Players will encounter challenges in balancing their performances in the NBA. All this while going through their off-court careers in fashion, music, and business.

Furthermore, the NBA 2k23  Dreamer Cover Edition is only exclusively available on Gamestop. It will be available in the US and Canada only for next-gen console versions of the Xbox Series X, and PS5 on September 9, 2022.
