The internet world is abuzz with rumors now about the Priyanka Chopra-Nick Jonas split up. This is following Priyanka Chopra’s abrupt move to delete Nick Jonas’ last name from her Instagram and Twitter account.
On December 1, 2018, the couple tied the knot in two festive ceremonies. According to E! News, the lavish three-day wedding celebration in India costs about $800,000. It’s not surprising as the wedding took place in a palace which is one of the world’s largest private residences.
Priyanka Chopra cited her explanation of having two weddings, “I knew that both of us wanted one wedding in each of our religions, so that was two days anyway. But it all happened so fast. We decided to prepare for this wedding in October, and we got married off first of December.” She added, “We saw videos, and then the bill. And we were like, ‘Oh, cool, cool, cool. Maybe we should have prepared this a little bit more. So that’s why it was that glorious. We weren’t prepared.”

While all of the Indian celebrations took place in India, they also had a Christian ceremony after their huge Indian wedding. Nick’s father, Paul, who is a pastor, officiated the wedding. Following this is their recent Puja celebration at their California home, which had the followers wondering whatever happened to the two.
With everyone’s speculation about the separation news all over the web, Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra are not divorcing. The wife herself cleared up these rumors of a split up in an Instagram comment on November 22, 2021. This black and white Instagram video have Nick’s caption, “Monday motivation. Let’s get it.” It showed Nick working out with bicep curls. He’s wearing shorts, a black tank top, and compression leggings. Priyanka commented on the video, “Damn! I just died in your arms….”

Speculations
Priyanka’s comment was posted after rumors of their split up. While her Instagram account just contains her name “Priyanka”, fans started to comment on their speculations.
Twitter user @k_d13 wrote, “BYE PRIYANKA CHOPRA REMOVED JONSA FROM HER INSTAGRAM BIO.” Another social media follower commented, “WAIT NICK AND PRIYANKA BROKE UP?”
Fans and followers speculated as much and thought that Priyanka’s bio change was a hint of their divorce. While some thought that Priyanka’s purpose of removal was just for rebranding.
