Inside Look at Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas’ Diwali party

Pop singer-songwriter Nick Jonas has once again shown respect and affection for Indian celebrations. This is all thanks to his wife, Priyanka Chopra. While Jonas has completely immersed himself in Indian rituals, he even celebrates and shares them with friends.

From celebrating Diwali puja at home to throwing an after-celebration for his friends, Jonas was genuinely into these traditions with Priyanka Chopra. Just last Thursday night, the lovely couple lit up the sky in their California home. This is following their shimmering Diwali celebration.

But the public won’t be able to have a glimpse of the sparkling event if not for Nick Jonas. The credit goes to him for sharing the moment through his Instagram account. In the video clip, Nick looks very much involved as he can be seen holding the actress lovingly. While Priyanka is stunning as ever in her white lehenga. Even the fireworks backdrop made the video far more stunning.

While the Diwali bash is star-studded with Indian celebrities attendees, Nick looks every bit as thankful to his gorgeous wife for introducing him to the Indian traditions.

Day Celebration

Though the video posted was in the evening, the celebration started in the morning. The two called for “grace and abundance” for their California home on Thursday morning by executing a puja with their family and friends. Priyanka was joined by her close friends. They are actress-filmmaker Mindy Kaling and Lilly Singh, and Deepica Mutyala at the evening bash.

While on Diwali eve, Priyanka Chopra led the way on the party with some of the “badass desi boss ladies”. One of them is filmmaker Mindy Kaling, who is working with Priyanka Chopra on a project. Mindy hosted the event with guests Harris, Liza Koshy, Poorna Jagannathan, Punam Patel, Richa Moorjani, Bela Bajaria, Deepica Mutyala, Radhika Jones, and many others. All were leading Indian women in the entertainment industry and media.

Priyanka was again as gorgeous as ever in her change of outfit. This time she wore a sand floral tiered print skirt with a floral mirror blouse for the evening banquet. Priyanka also never misses sharing these moments on her Instagram. She wrote the caption, “ Love, laughter and a room full of badass desi boss ladies. Thank you, Mindy Kaling, Deepica + Meena for a lovely pre-Diwali celebration.”

Priyanka Chopra had just returned home in Los Angeles from her shooting in London and Spain. She has an upcoming series titled Citadel.
