While everyone is still hanging on the spookiness of the Halloween fever, Mariah Carey comes in with her announcement. “It’s time” to hop in the holiday joy ride with her iconic Christmas song, “All I Want For Christmas Is you.”

On her Instagram post, Mariah Carey posted a video teaser of her upcoming holiday project. Right after Halloween ends, Mariah is hinting in this post that the hilly season has officially begun.

With the caption “Ready? Let’s go!” The video shows three jack-o-lanterns and Halloween decorations. They spell out “It’s not time” in this video which lasted for 30 seconds.

Then the Queen of Christmas in a red Santa-inspired gown walks through the door holding a candy cane decorated bat. She looks around and observes the decorations. Come midnight, when the clock strikes 12, Mariah Carey smashes the lanterns. Afterward, her hit 1994 Christmas single begins to play.

Aside from Carey signaling it’s officially the start of the holiday season, she also hints there is something more up her sleeve. As one gift was marked with “11/5”, it seems like a teaser for even more surprises and presents to come. This could mean something’s about to get unwrapped this Friday. Although there are a few more holidays before Carey’s ultimate holiday.

While the video wrapped up with a text “It’s time! To smash that pumpkin and treat it as a pie,”, it also concluded that “cause we still gotta get through Thanksgiving!!!”

Mariah Carey gave everyone a Christmas present last year with her musical, “Mariah Carey’s Magical Christmas Special,”. The show featured performances and cameos from your favorites like Jennifer Hudson, Snoop Dogg, Ariana Grande, Billy Eichner, and Bette Midler.

In 2019, Carey had an interview with USA Today in the 25th-anniversary celebration of her classic “All I want for Christmas is you. The Queen of Christmas said that it was as if no time had passed at all.

Carey added, “It’s so funny, somebody was just asking me, What were you doing 25 Christmases ago?” She said, “I Would probably say somebody was giving me a bottle and they were singing me a sweet lullaby Christmas tune. Because I was just one year old, so I don’t know!”

When asked about her hit “All I want for Christmas is You”, Carey said she didn’t acknowledge time. The hit single was now turning 25.

From her 1993 third album “Music Box” which was a Top 1 for eight non-consecutive weeks, Carey’s team laid out their idea of a holiday album. Carey said yes and gave it a shot. It’s when the iconic holiday song was born.

It was originally composed when she was at home with her ex-husband Tommy Mottola. As Carey remembered, she was sitting alone at a keyboard and began to press on the keys of what was now a hit Christmas single.
