Then the Queen of Christmas in a red Santa-inspired gown walks through the door holding a candy cane decorated bat. She looks around and observes the decorations. Come midnight, when the clock strikes 12, Mariah Carey smashes the lanterns. Afterward, her hit 1994 Christmas single begins to play.
Aside from Carey signaling it’s officially the start of the holiday season, she also hints there is something more up her sleeve. As one gift was marked with “11/5”, it seems like a teaser for even more surprises and presents to come. This could mean something’s about to get unwrapped this Friday. Although there are a few more holidays before Carey’s ultimate holiday.
While the video wrapped up with a text “It’s time! To smash that pumpkin and treat it as a pie,”, it also concluded that “cause we still gotta get through Thanksgiving!!!”
