Oliver Tolentino’s runway show caps LA Fashion Week
LOS ANGELES – A standing room-only crowd at the runway show of Beverly Hills designer Oliver Tolentino, capped Los Angeles Fashion Week (LAFW) Friday, Oct. 8, 2021.
Tolentino presented a 33-piece couture collection on the rooftop of the Peterson Auto Museum noted for its landmark red racing stripe façade.
Hollywood and Manila celebrities turned out to support Tolentino. Apl.de.ap from the Black Eyed Peas and boxing champ Nonito Donaire chatted on the front row.
Hollywood Fil-Am actors Mike Cabellon, who co-stars with Ted Danson in “Mr. Mayor,” and Carlin James, from “The Assassination of Gianni Versace” miniseries, watched on the other side.
Also on front row were actress Anna Maria Perez de Tagle (known for “Camp Rock “and “Hannah Montana”), singer Kiana Valenciano, and Philippine Consul General Edgar Badajos.
Many front row guests donned the designer’s creations, including former Miss Universe, Margaret Gardiner, who was in a black beaded lace mini dress.
