A web of mystery, brilliant action and edge-of-your-seat suspense – these are just a few of the reasons why K-drama “Nine Puzzles” is dominating conversations across social media and streaming charts.
“Nine Puzzles” has officially become Disney+’s most-watched Korean original series of 2025, according to a recent global bulletin.
The gripping psychological thriller, driven by a dark narrative involving serial murders and cryptic puzzle pieces, has captivated viewers worldwide.
At the center of the whirlwind is acclaimed actress Kim Dami, best known for her performances in “Our Beloved Summer” and”Itaewon Class,” who delivers a chilling performance as Yoon Ena.
First introduced as a high school girl who stumbles upon her uncle’s lifeless body beside a peculiar puzzle piece, Ena is wrongly accused of the crime. A decade later, now a seasoned criminal profiler, she is unexpectedly drawn into a chilling string of murders tied to the same eerie symbol from her past.
One fan on X wrote, “the one thing i absolutely loved was the development in ena & hansaem’s relationship. He went from having a valid suspicion on her to being the only person who stood by her side till the end, definitely my fav profiler x detective duo.”
The show’s plot is intricate, populated by eccentric characters, unpredictable twists and a deep emotional undercurrent that has viewers completely hooked.

Another viewer praised the star-studded ensemble, including jaw-dropping cameo appearances: “#NinePuzzles really brought out the big guns for having all these faces… they served both incredible plot and masterclass in acting performance. hands down the best thriller drama of 2025.”
A viewer pointed out that the series subtly highlighted the main character’s strong moral compass, implying that, unlike those who killed her mother without remorse or lasting guilt, she carried the weight of her own actions heavily, showing a deeper sense of conscience and humanity.
Again this shows that she was more moral than the ones who murdered her mother without a care. Nor did they remember her mother. It never haunted them like her actions haunted her.#NinePuzzles #NinePuzzlesEp11 pic.twitter.com/ZttJuISZUK
