SAN LUIS OBISPO, California — The Filipino Community of Los Osos recently held a barbeque to help the victims of Hurricane Harvey.
Available for $12 a plate was a full dinner with chicken, rice, salad, beans and plenty of extra food from other volunteers. All proceeds went to the local American Red Cross, according to KSBY News.
Albert Calizo, FCLO president, says his group is happy to be involved in a community that has given them many opportunities.
