Virtual charity concert ‘Pinoy By Heart” for guardians of West PH Sea, Feb. 14

In an effort to continuously support and help the guardians and protectors of our West Philippine Sea, the National Youth Movement for the West Philippine Sea (NYMWPS) will host a star-studded benefit online on Feb. 14.

NYMWPS has been organizing benefit concerts to raise funds to provide and supplement their basic needs,  says Saipan-based Dr. Celia Lamkin, Founder and Global Chairperson the group.

On Dec. 24, 2020, the school children and residents of Pag-asa Island, Kalayaan, Palawan received their Christmas gifts of toys, school supplies, musical instruments, canned goods, noodles, medicines, vitamins and face masks. CONTRIBUTED

The National Youth Movement for the West Philippine Sea is a “transglobal peaceful organization that advocates for the preservation of Philippines’ sovereignty and territorial integrity,” according to a press statement.

In Dec. 2020, the NYMWPS held a Christmas gift-giving projects for the Scarborough Shoal fishermen in Masinloc, Zambales, the soldierss in BRP Sierra Madre at Ayungin Shoal, and the school children and residents of Pag-asa Island in Kalayaan Islands Group in Palawan. CONTRIBUTED
