Win-win.
I will say the one downside is there aren’t expansion packs yet.
Hope they come out soon.

Not Parent Approved: A Card Game for Kids Cons

Overall, this game looks really funny and my 8-year-old will laugh so hard when he plays this.
HOWEVER.
There are some cards that are HIGHLY inappropriate for an 8-year-old.

Unstable Unicorns Base Game

Unstable Unicorns Base Game

$19.97

The goal of Unstable Unicorns is simple: be the first player to collect 7 Unicorns.
Where things get tricky is when you realize your opponents are trying to do the same thing while working to destroy you.

  • A strategic card game that will destroy your friendships…but in a good way.
  • One of Kickstarter’s top 50 most backed projects of all time!
  • Ages 14+ , 30-45 minutes playtime
  • 2-8 players

Unstable Unicorns Base Game Pros

The options are limited enough that they are able to understand after only a couple rounds of playing and it’s a great starter game if you ever want to get them into MTG or some other horrifically confusing strategy game.

Unstable Unicorns Base Game Cons

This game is cute, funny and very creative.
The problem is some directions just aren’t clear enough.
And worse if you have two players they ask you to go online for further instructions.

Unstable Unicorns Base Game Conclusion

This game is awesome.
From Super Fertile Unicorn who gives you a baby unicorn to Fat Unicorn that plays as two unicorns, the cards are creative and entertaining.
Definitely recommended

Those surely worked and I’m the best uncle now.

Ollie App-Controlled Robot Cons

I have two kids and they thought this was cool when I was playing with it, but once I handed it over they soon found themselves more engrossed with trying to figure out the controls than having fun.

Sphero Orbotix 1B01RW1 Ollie App-Controlled Robot Conclusion

These are great to play with and seemingly indestructible.
Check out YouTube for tricks.
Get some ramps to crank up the fun.

Not worth the $.
This is like something you could get out of a cheap claw machine at the grocery store.

TeeTurtle Reversible Octopus Mini Plush Conclusion

We weren’t too sure about how easy it would be to flip or switch back and forth, but wow.
It is as easy as just flipping it.
No shoving little legs in and straightening crap out.
Nope.
Today I want happy, just flip.
Later I want the cute crabby face, shove that happy in there and tada, crabby.
Super cute.
Super soft.

Can’t Catch Harry Board Game

Can't Catch Harry Board Game

$18.73

Can’t Catch Harry is a breaking game that is fast-paced and comes with collectors cards from the popular Youtube channel The Odd 1s Out! Moths get such a bad rep

Sure they aren’t beautiful and they fly into light bulbs and eat your clothes, but when James was 5 years old he and his twin sister caught a moth.

They named him Harry and had him for all of 24 hours before he was captured by a bird.
Even though they demanded the birds return, Harry, the bird flew away.
Now, the question is, can you Catch Harry?

  • Moths like Lamps
  • A fast-paced game, family-friendly that will entertain your family for hours and hours
  • This game may cause significant family hard-feelings after someone wins – just like any other game

Can’t Catch Harry Board Game Pros

We purchased this game for our grandson for his 11th birthday.
He loves it! The nice thing about this game is that people of all ages can play.
That’s great when you’re trying to include smaller children through grandpas and grandmas.

Can’t Catch Harry Board Game Cons

The rules have SO many holes in them. Very very poorly written.
The kids still like the game enough to play, but honestly only because they recognize the characters from the YouTube series, not because the gameplay is engaging.

Can’t Catch Harry -Board Game Conclusion

You can play with no strategy or a huge strategy. I like that I can adapt the rules to play differently each time!” And that sums it up!

Unfortunately, it lasted for a very short time.

Pretty good kit. I liked the online instructions.
My son was able to follow the directions easily and worked well on the lighting.
