Mango Tours leads successful Social Media Influencers PH Tour
Mango Tours successfully concluded a 10-day, five-island-destination Always Summer in the Philippines (ASP) Tour to better promote the Philippines as a travel destination.
The US-based full-service travel agency, which specializes in providing low-priced airfares, travel packages, airport transfers, and other travel-related services, partnered with some of the world’s well-known social media influencers.
Mango Tours brought together a unique group of individuals from the United States to join it on a journey in experiencing the best of the Philippine islands. The Always Summer in the Philippines roster of exceptional influencers from the world of social media includes travel photographer Tiffany Nguyen, blogger Gwen Lane, foodie expert Corey Marshall, two-time Emmy Award-winning travel producer and host Ashley Colburn with stylist Stanka Gabri and photographer Joshua Middleton. Also in the group were models and recording artists Liane Valenzuela and Don Benjamin with talent manager Jimson Tamano, talent agent Selomon Goitom and make-up artist Christina Arce and YouTube sensation couple Aspyn Ovard and Parker Ferris.
The tour showcased a more authentic and engaging travel experience of the Philippines, all seen through first person lens and curated tastefully by very talented and reliable ambassadors from the world of social media.
Mango Tours ASP Tour Group took on a journey covering five destinations in the Philippines – Manila, Palawan, Bohol, Cebu and Boracay, flying with the official airline partner, Philippine Airlines.
A historical immersion in Manila kick started the tour, followed by a visit to the renowned Puerto Princesa Underground River in Palawan. The group continued on to Bohol for the famed Chocolate Hills and the Philippine tarsier – the world’s smallest primate, moved on to Cebu for a whale shark encounter and a trek to the Kawasan Falls, then on to the famed island of Boracay before finally capping off the 10-day tour in Manila.
“FAM (familiarity) trips provide the best way to experience visiting a new place, immersing oneself in the culture, trying the food, seeing the sights and meeting locals,” explained Mango Tours Vice President of Business Development and Operations Juan Francisco III.
He strongly feels that the ASP Tour will not only help Mango Tours push the Philippines as a destination, but also heighten the overall awareness of the Philippine Islands. “Many of our influencers’ followers are non-Filipino and most of these people were seeing the uniqueness and charm of the Philippines for the first time,” Francisco added.
Through the cooperation and support of the Philippine Department of Tourism and local tour operators — Hadefe Travel and Tours, Pamilacan Tours, SUP Tours Philippines and Cebu Trip Tours — the group was able to explore various renowned destinations in Palawan, Cebu and Bohol.
In addition, Kabila Filipino Bistro, Burgers and Brewskies and Crisp on 28th hosted meals for the group during its stay in Manila; Zubuchon hosted in Cebu. Spa Wellness treated them to a traditional massage while Astoria Hotels and Resorts (Palawan, Boracay and Currents by Astoria), Eskaya Beach Resort & Spa, Crimson Resort & Spa Mactan and The Manila Hotel served as official accommodations for the duration of the tour.
