That same year, lead actor Lee Jung Jae also secured Best Actor in a Drama Series for his role.

The ceremony took place on Feb. 7 in Santa Monica, California, after being rescheduled from its original Jan. 12 date due to the Los Angeles wildfires.

“Squid Game 2” triumphed over a strong lineup of nominees, including last year’s winner “Pachinko,” as well as “Acapulco,” “Citadel: Honey Bunny,” “La Máquina,” “The Law According to Lidia Poët,” “My Brilliant Friend” and “Senna.”
