Filipino Canadian pop-punk artist Mico is set to release “Homesick (repack)” this Friday, a revamped version of his widely acclaimed track “Homesick,” which debuted last year.
Known for his nostalgic, heartfelt pop punk songs like “Cut My Hair,” “Another Soul” and “Better,” Mico has carved out a unique space in the music scene, charming listeners with his relatable lyrics and distinct pop punk sound of this generation.
In an Instagram post announcing the repackaged release, Mico reflected on the song’s journey: “I put out this song in a rush last year because I was so in love with it; half a year later and it’s finding its audience, and I couldn’t be happier.”

Rooted in a household filled with classic Filipino music, he carved his own musical identity in pop punk, drawing inspiration from bands like Marianas Trench and 5 Seconds of Summer.
