Olivia Rodrigo to headline Roskilde Festival 2025

The highly anticipated Roskilde Festival 2025 is shaping up to be one for the books.
With the event set to take place from June 28 to July 5, 2025, festival organizers have just dropped an exciting second wave of artists, adding some of the biggest names in music to the 53rd edition of the Danish festival.
Leading the charge is Filipino American pop sensation Olivia Rodrigo, who will perform at Roskilde on July 4.

Thomas Sønderby Jepsen, Roskilde Festival’s Head of Music, expressed his excitement, calling the Grammy-award-winning singer-songwriter’s performance “a celebration to go down in the history books.”
He added that her vulnerability and willingness to break boundaries make her a perfect addition to the Roskilde line-up and the festival promises this will be her only Scandinavian concert of 2025, adding even more exclusivity to the event.
“Olivia Rodrigo is undeniably one of the biggest names today. Her exceptional ability to express the complex emotions of youth with such authenticity and intensity sets her apart from others in the industry,” he said, as shared by The Line of Best Fit article.
“As an artist, she represents a new generation of headliners who are unafraid to show their vulnerability and break boundaries, making her a perfect fit for Roskilde Festival.”
Also joining the festival are the iconic American metal band Deftones, who are set to release new music in 2025. Their hard-hitting, atmospheric sound will surely electrify the Roskilde crowd. British producer Jamie xx, formerly of The xx, will bring his distinct blend of electronic music to the main stage.
The second wave of confirmed artists also includes rising talents like hyperpop artist A.G. Cook, UK punk duo Lambrini Girls and Irish folk acts such as Landless and The Mary Wallopers.
The festival will also feature an eclectic mix of international artists, including Artigeardit, Saint Levant, Anoushka Shankar, Flock, Nala Sinephro and HiTech, ensuring there’s something for everyone.
