BTS member Jungkook has once again proven his global star power as his solo track “Seven” featuring American rapper Latto hit an incredible milestone on Spotify.

The song, released in 2023, has officially crossed the 2 billion streams mark, making it the first song by an Asian artist to reach this achievement on the platform.

The song is the first and fastest song by an Asian and K-pop artist to achieve this milestone. It is also the fourth fastest song in history to reach this landmark, accomplishing the feat in just 467 days.

Available in two versions – an explicit one featuring Latto and a clean version performed by Jungkook – the track swiftly climbed the charts since its release last year, peaking at number one in several global rankings.

Its widespread appeal has now solidified it as one of the most-streamed songs in Spotify history.

This accomplishment follows another major victory for “Seven,” surpassing BTS’ own internationally renowned track “Dynamite.”

Meanwhile, Jungkook’s debut solo album “Golden” has propelled him to new heights. Featuring hits like “Standing Next To You” and “3D,” the album has earned critical acclaim and massive fan support. He is now a strong contender at the 2025 Grammy Awards, with submissions for Album of the Year and Best Pop Vocal Album, alongside nominations for “Standing Next To You” and 3D in categories like Record of the Year, Best Pop Solo Performance and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance.

Adding to the album’s success, “Golden” recently launched a vinyl version, which generated excitement among fans. Pre-orders for the vinyl sold out quickly on platforms like Music Korea and Music Plant, underscoring the ongoing demand for Jungkook’s solo work.

With “Seven” breaking records and “Golden” receiving both critical acclaim and commercial success, Jungkook continues to dominate the global music scene as a member of BTS and as a solo artist, proving that his star power shows no signs of dimming.
