With their nostalgic charm, vinyl records are experiencing a resurgence in today’s music landscape. If you’re an ARMY or a
BTS fan, you’ll definitely want to get your hands on one, especially with Jungkook’s upcoming vinyl release of his solo album, “Golden.”

Following in the footsteps of fellow members J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V and Suga, who have all released their own solo vinyls, Jungkook’s vinyl version of his album will be available globally, including in South Korea, Japan, the US and Europe.

Big Hit Music recently announced the eagerly anticipated vinyl release, stating, “We are excited to announce the release of BTS member Jung Kook’s GOLDEN on vinyl.”

Originally launched in 2023, Golden showcases Jungkook’s musical range, drawing inspiration from the “golden” moments in his life and career.

“As a token of appreciation for your love and support, we are thrilled to announce that GOLDEN will be available on vinyl,” the Korean entertainment company added.

The pre-order period has already kicked off on Oct. 2, at 11 AM KST, giving fans a chance to secure their copies before the official rollout. The global release will take place in phases, with South Korea seeing the first shipments on Nov. 8, followed by Japan on Nov. 18 and the US/Europe on Dec. 13.

However, fans should be aware that release dates may vary by country due to the lengthy production process associated with vinyl records.

The hype surrounding this release is undeniable, as evidenced by the quick sell-out of pre-orders on platforms like Music Korea and Music Plant.

This resurgence of vinyl reflects a broader trend among music lovers who appreciate the nostalgic warmth and tangible experience that vinyl records offer, contrasting with digital formats.

The album features an outer sleeve and a high-quality vinyl record. Accompanying the music, there is a photo book containing 20 pages that captures the essence of Jungkook’s artistic journey.

Additionally, like other K-pop albums, fans will receive two unique postcards and two collectible photocards, with a contents envelope and a wax seal sticker completing the package.
