Chappell Roan celebrates a year of transformation with debut album
This year has truly marked the rise of emerging artists, both in the Philippines and around the world. Among them is the unstoppable Chappell Roan, the hitmaker behind “Good Luck, Babe!” who continues to capture attention with her pop music and make waves in the music scene globally.
With over 45.4 million monthly listeners on Spotify, Chappell recently marked the one-year anniversary of her debut album, “The Rise & Fall of a Midwest Princess,” with a tribute to her fans on social media. This album launch was also backed up by her Midwest Princess Tour which took place last year featuring eighty-nine shows.
The album, which showcases her artistic evolution through 14 tracks, including “HOT TO GO!” and “Pink Pony Club,” has not only garnered critical acclaim but also profoundly impacted her life.

In a celebratory post on both Facebook and Instagram, the artist reflected on the transformative journey she has experienced since the album’s release. Accompanied by a photo of herself, Chappell Roan held her “Popstar Edition” vinyl against a backdrop of promotional posters, she expressed her gratitude for the unwavering support she has received.
“1 year of The Rise & Fall of a Midwest Princess,” she began, before revealing the emotional rollercoaster that the past year has been. “My life has been changed forever. This has been amazing and hard and beautiful and eye-opening and empowering and transformative and every emotion ever.”
The former Atlantic Records artist took a moment to extend her thanks to her dedicated fanbase, emphasizing the communal effort behind her success. “Thank you for showing up for this project and believing in me,” she continued. “This is not just me making this happen; this is a team of people working their asses off day and night to keep this afloat. I am so lucky and feel so loved.”
It’s worth noting that Chappell Roan’s net worth is estimated at $6 million, not surprising as her debut album has gained traction, particularly following the success of her single “Good Luck, Babe,” which has drawn in new listeners keen to discover her artistry.
Additionally, she has performed as an opening act for Filipino American pop star Olivia Rodrigo’s GUTS world tour. Proving to be unstoppable, Chappell Roan also performed at the Boston Calling music festival last March.
