With a fresh new look, hoops in hand, and her helmet ready, Filipino American racing prodigy Bianca Bustamante remains hopeful despite not having the perfect qualifying session at the 2024 Singapore Grand Prix.
In a candid Instagram post, the first Filipina McLaren Development driver reflected on the challenging first round, acknowledging that her performance fell short of expectations.
“Tough one yesterday in qualifying… I pushed as hard as I could but missed a top 5 in qualifying by 0.2 seconds,” she wrote, with photos of her on the race track.

Despite starting in P9, Bustamante remains upbeat and motivated for the upcoming two races.
“I’m gonna drive my heart out there to climb my way back up,” she promised her supporters, determined to turn things around on the streets of Singapore. Her resolve is encapsulated in the hashtag she frequently uses: “Forever Forward,” with an orange heart.
