Eva’s participation follows fellow Filipina drag queen Marina Summers’ impressive third-place finish in the second season of “RuPaul’s Drag Race: UK vs. the World.”

This time, one of the top 4 finalists in “Drag Race Philippines” season 1 will be going against 11 other queens from various franchises, each representing their own countries.

“In ‘Drag Race Philippines,’ I did pretty well, I was [in the] Final 4,” she stated in her Meet the Queens clip. “I always go for breathtaking looks, I use my body, my artwork, my wigs, my face to tell a story and start conversations.”

Coming from a wordplay “evil queen,” Eva has always been inspired by her Eastern sisters who came before her like Pangina Heals, whom Eva described as someone who “broke the glass ceilings in the Philippines.” She added, “I came here because I wanted to show that there is excellence from that side of the world.”

More than ever, Eva’s dream is “to elevate Filipino drag as a more viable profession,” emphasizing the significance of an Asian queen winning All Stars.

“It’s high time for Asian drag excellence to be in the Hall of Fame. I’m representing the Philippines but at the same time Asia in general because I started my drag in Singapore with the influences of my sisters from Thailand, Indonesia and Hong Kong,” she said.
