RIIZE’s Anton curates special OPM playlist following Manila concert
Anton has songs for their Filipino fans!
K-pop group RIIZE from SM Entertainment is currently on a worldwide fancon tour, recently making a stop in Manila on July 14 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
Known for his love of creating music playlists, Anton, the Korean American artist and the youngest member of the “Boom Boom Bass” and “Love 119” singer, shared his experience in Manila in a recent Weverse update. He described their time in the city as “short but sweet” and mentioned discovering some music he absolutely loved.
“Thanks to you guys, we’re leaving with so many great memories, and we’ll be sure to come back to see you again someday,” Anton said. “The cheers at our concert last night were unreal.”

In his post, Anton further expressed his gratitude by including Filipino phrases like salamat and habang buhay kitang mamahalin. He also enjoyed the local delicacies, especially the mango smoothie, which his co-member Sungchan humorously admitted to drinking in large quantities instead of water.
“At this point, I’m a mango addict,” Sungchan added.
As per Anton’s OPM playlist, it heavily features a variety of popular and fan favorite Filipino songs, including “Kung ‘Di Rin Lang Ikaw” by December Avenue, Dionela’s new track “Sining,” Ben&Ben’s “Sa Susunod Na Habang Buhay,” Nameless Kids’ “Bukas Na Lang,” Lola Amour’s “Raining in Manila,” and “Kasing Kasing” by Juan Karlos and Kyle Echarri, among others.
It also seems like Anton is an enjoyer of Hev Abi, as he included “Pakundangan” by Demi featuring Hev Abi in his playlist. Interestingly, the last song on Anton’s playlist, Hajji Alejandro’s “Kay Ganda ng Ating Musika,” was a recommendation from his father.
After their Manila stop, the group will perform in Singapore on July 20, Bangkok on July 27 and 28 and Jakarta on Aug. 31. They already held a show in Los Angeles on May 20, where they also visited Dodger Stadium after the show and had the opportunity to meet Dodgers players Miggy and Yoshinobu.
