K-pop group Riize hangs out with Dodgers on Korean Heritage Night

Riding high on the success of their latest EP, “Riizing,” K-pop group Riize made a stop at Dodger Stadium on Wednesday, adding a burst of energy and charm to the pre-game festivities.
As part of Korean Heritage Night, presented by Jinro, the seven-member boy band from SM Entertainment delivered a performance that had fans cheering and dancing in the stands.

The event marked Riize’s first performance at Dodger Stadium and came on the heels of their successful Riize Fan-Con titled “Riizing Day” at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles on Monday. The group’s presence added an international flair to the festivities, showcasing the global appeal of K-pop.

The pre-game performance by Riize was met with enthusiasm from fans, who danced and cheered along to their hit songs like “Get a Guitar.” Meanwhile, Major League Baseball (MLB) shared a TikTok video capturing the excitement of the event, highlighting Riize’s growing popularity beyond their home country.
“Thanks for a great performance, RIIZE!” MLB wrote.
In addition to Riize’s performance, the evening featured cross-cultural musician Luna Lee in the Centerfield Plaza and Torrance-born DJ/record producer Tokimonsta throwing the ceremonial first pitch.
Riize also had the opportunity to meet with Miggy and Yoshinobu, as captured by MLB’s TikTok. Riize commented, “Thank you for having us!! Go Dodgers!!” and the Dodgers replied, “Thank you for hanging with us!”

On the same night, the Los Angeles Dodgers geared up to face the Arizona Diamondbacks.
Consisting of Shotaro, Eunseok, Sungchan, Wonbin, Seunghan, Sohee and Anton who debuted in Sept. 2023, Riize had already traveled to Tokyo on May 11 and 12 for their fan-con tour. They will also hold shows in Hong Kong on June 1, Taipei on June 15, Manila on July 14, Singapore on July 20, Bangkok on July 27 and 28, and Jakarta on August 31.
