P-pop girl group BINI continues to hit stardom with their golden arrows and solidify their status as the undeniable “nation’s girl group.”

Fresh from the success of selling out tickets for their first major concert “Biniverse,” scheduled to take place on June 28, 29 and 30, in under two hours, the eight-member ensemble has achieved another remarkable milestone.

They have reached a new peak of 3.26 million daily listeners on Spotify, marking an impressive surge of 186.6K from their previous record on April 21 (PST).

“Salamin, salamin sa dingding. Nasa amin na talaga ang pag-ibig! Maraming salamat sa OA na suporta,” The group expressed in an Instagram post, along with a fun dance video to their latest hit single “Salamin, Salamin.”

This consistent ascent has propelled the group beyond the three-million mark, surpassing the record set by fellow P-pop sensation SB19 in August 2023, firmly establishing their dominance in the contemporary P-pop scene.

With a staggering total of 99.5 million streams across their discography as of writing, BINI’s infectious summer anthem “Pantropiko” has become a craze, claiming the top spot on Spotify’s “Top Songs PH” chart alongside their other six tracks.

The viral track, which was honored with a tribute on the Sunday variety show ASAP, reminiscent of Sarah Geronimo’s iconic “Tala,” achieved a new daily peak, amassing 815.4K streams and maintaining the No. 1 position for two consecutive days.

Their impact has even drawn comparisons to global icons, with one user humorously remarking on X (formerly Twitter), “BINI survived Taylor Swift in the Philippines,” referring to the release of the Grammy-award-winning singer-songwriter’s highly anticipated album “The Tortured Poets Department.”

Further highlighting dominance, “Pantropiko” has also surpassed K-pop powerhouse Blackpink’s “Pink Venom,” having the highest single-day streaming peak for a girl group in Spotify PH history.

In addition to their chart-topping success, BINI dominates the “Viral Songs PH” chart with a total of 12 tracks, including five songs – “Salamin, Salamin,” “Pantropiko,” “Karera,” “Lagi” and “Huwag Muna Tayong Umuwi” – ranking in the top 10 for 17 consecutive days and counting.

Their global influence is equally impressive, with four tracks gracing the “Viral Songs Global” chart, three of which are featured in the Viral 50 – Global Playlist.

Meanwhile, the group’s journey for world domination is set to unfold one country at a time, starting with Singapore’s “Music Matters Live” Festival from May 8 to 11 at CQ @ Clarke Quay by the Singapore River.

Comprising members Aiah, Colet, Jhoanna, Sheena, Mikha, Gwen, Stacey, and Maloi, BINI continues to redefine success with their latest EP “Talaarawan,” consistently shattering records left and right and almost everyday. Their upcoming feature on Lay Zhang’s “Show It All” in China, teased with a recently released trailer, further cements their growing international presence.
