As pop music continues to be defined by powerhouse women, Gracie Abrams is making sure to honor two who’ve helped shape her path.
For the past year, Gracie Abrams has been on the road for “The Secret of Us Tour,” promoting her sophomore album of the same name and steadily carving out her place in the pop music landscape.
In one of her stops, she took a special moment during her recent Boston concert to reflect on the journey she’s had over the last four years and to express her deep gratitude to two of the biggest names in pop music today, Filipino American singer songwriter Olivia Rodrigo and Taylor Swift.

“Between touring and my last few EPs and albums, the amazing festivals and opening for the brilliant Olivia [Rodrigo] and for our forever genius Taylor [Swift], it has been a very wild and lucky four years on the road,” Abrams told the crowd.
Abrams acknowledged that they were “in the home stretch now” and took a moment to express how she and her team couldn’t be more grateful, telling the crowd they were “so happy to be here with all of you tonight.”
Abrams’ gratitude stems from an impressive rise in her career that has seen her evolve from supporting act to headliner.
In 2022, she joined Rodrigo’s “SOUR” Tour as an opener and, by 2023, she was sharing the stage with Swift on her blockbuster “Eras Tour,” a dream come true for Abrams, who has long admired the pop icon both as a friend and mentor.
In between opening for Swift and Rodrigo, Abrams released her debut studio album “Good Riddance” and is now promoting her second album, “The Secret of Us.”
Most recently, she postponed European tour dates before hitting several summer festivals. Now, she’s back in North America.
