Odette Quesada to hold 40th anniversary shows in California
In a celebration spanning four decades of musical prowess, the Filipina singer-songwriter Odette Quesada is set to stage her “All Hits 40th Anniversary Concert” in California.
Following a string of sold-out performances in Manila, Quesada will grace the stages of San Francisco and Los Angeles with her timeless melodies and performances.
Renowned for her classic compositions that have transcended generations and are still being revived right now, Quesada’s repertoire promises an evening of nostalgia as she collaborates with other Filipino artists, including Philippine’s “Queen of Soul” Jaya, Raymond Lauchengco and Felson Palad.
“So happy to have my dear friend Raymond Lauchengco join me in celebrating my 40th Anniversary concert in California,” Quesada said in a post accompanied by a video of Lauchengco singing “Growing Up” and greeting the “Wala Na Bang Pag-ibig” songstress a happy birthday.
“So excited to finally get to share the stage with the Queen of Soul!” she said in another post.
Quesada’s timeless hits, such as some of Filipino karaoke favorites and singing contest pieces like “Til I Met You,” “Don’t Know What To Say” and “A Friend of Mine,” will echo through the halls of the Alex Theater in Glendale on May 11 and the Fox Theater in Redwood City on May 12.
Recently, in an Instagram post, Quesada had an exclusive media huddle with her special guest artists on April 1. During the event, they shared an insightful discussion, behind-the-scenes insights and exciting announcements about her upcoming series of US shows.

In a separate post on the same account, the OPM hitmaker invited everyone to join her “for an unforgettable evening filled with more of her timeless melodies,” and expressed her excitement with, “See you soon, California.”
Two weeks ago, she visited Toronto for a show and gave her followers a sneak peek into some of the behind-the-scenes funny and unfiltered moments in the dressing room with fellow Filipino singer Joey Albert.
